Launch of the 1916 Centenary Edition of the Ashbourne, Co.Meath Town Guide

On Thursday, June 30th Ashbourne Chamber in Co.Meath launched 1916 Centenary Edition of the Town Guide for Ashbourne 2016/2017.

Designed by Will Quigley of TrinitySeven Studio Ltd (Ashbourne, Co.Meath), the purpose of the guide is to promote business in the town in the areas of retail, food and drink and accommodation.  The 1916 Centenary Edition features photos from the recent 1916 Rising Re-enactment that took place in April and also features a write up from Ashbourne Historical Society about the events in Ashbourne during the 1916 Rising.

A map of the town is also included with an indexed directory of all retail outlets, restuarants, pubs and hotels etc.

10,000 copies of the Town Guide have been printed and are being distributed around the town and to tourist attraction locations such as Tayto Park.

The launch event for the Town Guide was hosted in the Meath Co.Council civic offices on Killegland h with refreshments served on the night.  The event was open to all local businesses to attend by invitation.
