We had a little lunch-time fun this week messing around with the office guitar and our video production equipment.  Cheers to Will Quigley for knocking out an all time great solo in 5 different takes to get the multiple camera angles and close ups etc!

This guitar solo of Hotel California by the Eagles was shot on our Canon EOS 2D at 60 frames per second so we could get the nice slow motion effects at the start and end, with the backing track courtesy of Youtube and played through a phone!

The post production was done in Adobe Premier Pro – not an easy task when matching up the guitar notes with the multiple video sequences!

Note: we didn’t use any external mic and the sound was recorded directly into the camera rather than through a mixer.
